Schall-Ex® L-14/35
Attached at the threshold of hinged single action timber doors. this particular product offers you sound reduction of 51dB over a 7mm gap whereas 44dB over a 12mm gap. Made of a flame retardant silicone material, this product has a removable actuator for usage during the construction phase. Moreover it has a self levelling system.
Schall-Ex® Ultra
With all the features of Schall-Ex® L-14/35, the ultra version of this product is specially designed for coastal regions, wet and external environments. The salt sprayed gives the seal extra corrosion resistance.
Another one on the list is Schall-Ex® Jumbo I which is specially designed for acoustic protection for doors with large gaps of 35mm. The seal closes with the closing door and locks the room properly for acoustic purposes. This product is ideal for listed buildings which need limited maintenance.
