Intumescent Seals
The intumescent range of seals are especially designed for fire rated door systems and vision panel applications. These seals are designed in such a way that they expand upto 25 times of its original size in case of extreme heat like 200 degree celsius. It saves the door’s integrity for over 60 minutes keeping people safe in case of a mishap. The intumescent system complement PVC encapsulated and flexible intumescent door edge and glazing seals of fire-rated door systems.
There are range of series of intumescent systems starting from F series, FB series, FF series and FP series.
Series of intumescent systems
All series of intumescent system are made of moisture resistant material which makes them fit for external and internal use. As mentioned above, they are fire resistant. Moreover, these seals are also self-adhesive. So no extra hassle for fixing them or keeping them stay at one place.
The F Series: uses material of PVC covered graphite intumescent
The FB Series: Provides fire and smoke protection for timber door frames. Uses PVC encapsulated graphite intumescent, with a PP brush or Paluso®.
The FF Series: Provides fire, smoke and acoustic protection for timber door frames. Uses the same material as FB series with a soft PVC fin or Paluso®.
The FP Series: Provides fire protection with PVC encapsulated graphite intumescent Palusol® as the material. Best suited with Palusol® fire test evidence. It is supplied in different lengths according to your needs.
